Location
This traditional-style Bulgarian house is situated in the heart of the gorgeous Rhodopee Mountain in the south part of Bulgaria in the well-known village of Trigrad. Trigrad is situated in the most beautiful part of the mountain in an area famous with the numerous nature phenomena such as the Trigrad gorge, Buinovsko gorge, the Jagodinska and Devil’s Throat caves, etc. The region enjoys fully-preserved and unspoiled nature and is well-known as an ecologically clean area. All this has turned Trigrad in a preferred tourist destination for rural and mountain tourism and a great place for spending holidays or relocation.
Trigrad is a well-developed village that offers all services and amenities needed such as regular public transport, shops, restaurants, pubs, cable TV, Internet, etc. One of the largest lakes in Bulgaria is nearby and the area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, cave & gorge exploration, biking, eco-paths, etc. Devin SPA Resort is just 20 minutes drive away and world-class SPA & hot mineral water treatment services can be found there. Also, Pamporovo Ski resort (the largest ski resort in the country) is 1 hour drive away.
The House
This is a traditional-style stone-built Bulgarian Rhodopee house that spreads on 2 floors. Currently the house is going through major renovation and all completion works are included in the price. The total built-up area of the house is 130 square meters /1,400 sq.ft./.
Ground floor consists of a large lounge with open-plan kitchen and dining room, one bedroom, bathroom, a separate WC. A nice fireplace can be built in the living-room.
