The village is situated just 20 minutes drive away from the second-biggest town in Bulgaria – Plovdiv. Plovdiv International Airport is also some 25 minutes drive away. 50 miles away from the village is situated one of the biggest and certainly most beautiful ski resort in Bulgaria – Pamporovo Ski resort. Also, the large river of Maritsa and a number of small cute lakes are spread close to the village which gives excellent opportunities for fishing. The magnificent Rhodope mountains are not far away as well and there you can find plenty of hunting opportunities as well. The village is easily accessible all-year round through fine first-class roads. At the moment a new motorway running from Sofia and Plovdiv to the Black Sea coast is under construction and when it is completed the magnificent sea resorts and the gorgeous sandy beaches would be just 2 hours drive away as well! The village is very well-developed and offers all basic amenities needed such as shops, food & grocery’s stores, pubs, restaurants, chemistry’s, regular public transport to Plovdiv, etc. The house is situated on a quiet place at the end of the village where your comfort, calmness and tranquility would be guaranteed.

The House

The house is wonderful in every aspect and once you see it you will fall in love with its beauty. It enjoys beautiful authentic architecture with stone tiling and wooden windows and doors and carries the spirit of a traditional Bulgarian house! At the same time it unites the most modern technologies. Ground floor represents a furnished small tavern and a wine-cellar with wooden shelves. First floor consists of a nice and good-sized bedroom, a lovely furnished living-room, kitchen and a fully–equipped bathroom with a toilet. Cute marvel-tiled stairs invite you to the second floor where you can find 2 bedrooms and a closet which can be easily turned into a second bathroom (this can be arranged by our company). Also, there is a large porch on first floor and a large terrace on the second overlooking to a beautiful, landscaped garden of almost 800 sq. m.!

The Yard

The first thing that catches your eye is a beautiful brick wall fencing the trim yard. A big garage attached to the house provides safety for your car. There is a big verandah in front of the house and the beautiful garden is with total area size of 800 sq.m. The lovely garden is decorated with lavish flowers and greenery and there is a number of fruit trees in it such as apples, apricots, cherries, plums, etc. A lovely barbecue with a spacious sitting area promises some unforgettable parties in the warm summer nights! A charming private well adds more rural charm and traditional outlook to the nice fenced yard. Also, a swimming pool can be installed in the yard and this can be also arranged by our company.

Plovdiv

Plovdiv is one of the most ancient towns in Europe with its more than 8,000 years of history. Known as one of the central towns of the East Roman empire, the town still carries the spirit of its glorious past. Plovdiv is the second largest city in Bulgaria, situated on the Maritsa River. Its unique location on these ancient crossroads has stimulated strong cultural and political influences from East and West civilizations, and yet maintained its unique cultural identity. Being older than most of the oldest towns like Rome, Athens, Carthage or Constantinople, an almost contemporary of Troy, Plovdiv is a town built upon layers of towns and its inhabitants through the ages have developed the city’s culture upon layers of cultures. Plovdiv is a picturesque town, with many parks and gardens, museums and archaeological monuments. Its old part, called the Old Town, with houses from the National Revival period (18-19th century), is an imposing open-air museum situated on the three hills of the ancient Trimontium. One of the most remarkable sights of the town, the Ancient Theatre (a well-preserved Roman theatre), is located there and is still used for open-air performances. A Thracian capital as well as a classical Greek polis, the pride of Philip II of Macedonia, the capital of the Roman province of Thracia, a Byzantine center, a Bulgarian fortress, one of the goals of the Crusades - that is the brief history of the magnificently rich and important town of Plovdiv.
